In some ways, Sisyphus is lucky. He knows exactly what the consequences of his actions will be, and this continually gives him purpose. He is assured of, for lack of a better term, job security. He never has to worry about the future, because he has already lived it. There may not be relief, but there is no uncertainty, no risk, no possibility of things getting worse.
Perhaps I should go sleep. To be expanded!
Is anyone reading this? If so, apologies for the delay in updating. This quarter is hella busy, so new posts will be few and far between, if that at all. Between courseloads, new people, and some personal issues, life could be better.
Then again, it could be much worse. But would I have any less right to complain?
Shrug. You think it over. In fact, it’ll let me know if anyone pays attention to this sorrowful rag. If I hear something within the next ten days, I’ll start posting often. If not, its off to homework to drown in.

My plane to Stanford takes off in less than 8 hours and I’m stuck finishing the mandatory and rather boring AlcoholEDU course. I’ll be backpacking until the 18th, just in time for Orientation to kick off on the 19th. Don’t expect an update till then. Hopefully I’ll have survived enough to type.
Ah…back to the blogging world. It’s been a nice three months off, especially since I’ve accrued a hearty amount of postable material. Most of which you’ll see gradually.
For now, I have to get used to WordPress’s functionality. Much much shinier than my old home, Blogger. There’s so many bells and whistles to tinker with.
